Wondering where you can drop the boat in for an after work ski?
Can't get away to the river this weekend and need somewhere close?
Both Lake Burrumbeet and Lake Learmonth are within an easy 20 min Drive of the center of Ballarat and are perfect destinations for a nightly ski, or nice weekend outing.
Lake Learmonth is situated 23km North West of Ballarat in the township of Learmonth. There are picnic facilities, kids playground and toilets on the lake foresure, and if your a regular visitor, you might even consider joining the Learmonth Ski Club.
Lake Burrumbeet is approx 20 minutes from Ballarat, the Lake Foresure has toilet, and free camping facilities with plenty of area for swimming and boating.
